Wrinkle Treatment

Treating wrinkles is one of our most popular treatments, and whoever has had the pleasure of trying it understands why! The treatment will improve both your emotional and physical state within a few moments!

By placing small amounts of muscle relaxants into specific points, we can achieve different results. For example, we can smoothen out the lines and wrinkles in our faces and look years younger!

Your inner health and emotional state will also improve when we treat muscles that are too tense. The jaw or glabella (frown lines), for example, are common tension areas. By treating these, you will reduce migraines and headaches, and the face feels more relaxed.

Studies have also shown that muscle relaxants in the glabella can help combat depression. Apparently, If you don’t go around and frown all day, you will have fewer negative feelings.

Is wrinkle treatment dangerous?

Some clients may feel a bit scared about their first treatment. However, keep in mind that the relaxant is a well-proven drug that has been used in healthcare for centuries. For example, the drug is used on children in much higher doses to treat spastic and muscle cramps.

For these reasons, as long as you receive treatment from a certified doctor with good experience in the field and in a safe clinic, the risks are rare.

What are the side effects of wrinkle treatment?

The side effects of wrinkle treatment are relatively few and temporary. An experienced doctor can provide wrinkle treatment with the least amount of bruising. This is because we understand where vessels are located and know how to avoid them.

Some people tend to feel a slight heaviness in the forehead for the first 1-3 weeks after treatment in the forehead muscles. This is temporary, and if it does occur to you, we can take a slightly smaller dose on your next appointment to avoid the feeling of heaviness.

In very rare cases, the relaxant may come into contact with a nerve that controls the eyelid. This can cause temporary ptosis; droopy eyelid. It is therefore important not to exercise 24 hours after treatment, so this does not happen.

What should I consider after receiving a filler treatment?

After the treatment, we recommend avoiding lying down for a few hours, avoiding direct sunlight, solarium or extreme temperatures for one day. Exercise should also be avoided for 24 to 48 hours.

Facials and facial massages are also advised against for 3 to 4 days. These precautions should be taken in order for the agent not to migrate away from the administered area.

Will I lose all my facial expressions?

Can I become immune to the treatment?

In rare cases, some people may become immune to the treatment’s effects, especially if treated too often. Therefore it is recommended that you spread out treatments by at least three months.

However, there is a newly developed muscle relaxant, which one cannot become immune to. This wrinkle treatment relaxant is available upon request if you feel that you no longer achieve the desired result.
